Chameleons - Amazing Colors And Patterns
Chameleons are wonderful animals to own with their wonderful
colors and absolutely amazing patterns. These animals are the
best lizard for exhibiting because they have the ability to look
different every time you look at them.
These are the best lizards for intermediate to expert lizard
lovers but can be cared for by a beginner who has time and
patience for the chameleon. Chameleons require ventilated cages,
made from metal screening and need to either have their
environment misted twice daily or you have to install a drip
system for watering this type of lizard. They also require
special lighting without which they will die.
Besides the difficulty in maintaining the lizard, the
chameleons are the most well known lizards and can grow to sizes
of about two feet. It is a great lizard to have as a pet and
will keep you glued to the cage watching it. Chameleons'
abilities to alter their colors and patterns, make them one of
the coolest types of lizards!
