Water Turtles
Water or aquatic turtles are great beginner to expert
reptiles to own. They may require more maintenance than a ground
turtle but they make wonderful pets to watch and interact with.
Some of these turtles may grow bigger than others but generally
one will be fine in a small to medium sized enclosure.
We carry many different types of turtles from around the
world and turtles found in your local stream. Our turtles come
from the best breeders and are bred to be pets. Most water
turtle prefer their water temperature between 70 and 85 degrees
F with a basking spot.
Water turtles love basking and you will see them lay on a log
or rock all day sunning them selves. Water turtles generally eat
different types of dried pellets and sometimes it’s good to feed
them live plants that can be purchased at your local pet store.
